In September 2012, we began the Banting Book Talks pilot project.  In this project, students are recorded giving a “book talk” of a piece they have read.  The recordings are around two minutes in length, and the student will describe their book and offer a critique.  Recordings will then be uploaded to the Banting Library YouTube channel.  Following this, a Quick Response, or QR, Code will be generated.  This code will be turned into a sticker and placed on the cover of the book in the Banting library.  Thus, the code can be scanned and students can watch a video of their peer describing the video can be watched.

Our school is the first in Thames Valley to offer this program, and we are very excited about its potential.
